communication lies not in the letters and words of our vocabulary, but in the dynamics added to them when spoken—tone, rhythm, volume and body language to name a few. These are the characteristics that help bring true meaning to what we say.

Design endeavors to impart these dynamics onto the mediums of the printed page, displays, websites and the like. The value of well-executed design is the ability to express a message with the personality and vitality of its source.
